Well my personal Options about 4e is not great, and don’t worry I'm not one of those changeaphoblics (all the people that hate 4e just because it’s not a carbon copy of 3.5) just a couple reasons why I don't like the 4e.
1) and the biggy is) they took Sorcerer, barbarian, monk, and druid out of the Players hand book and are going to put them in the players handbook 2 or 3. Now that pissed me off because 3 of those happen to be my favorite classes they made into expansion packs.
2) D&D insider is kind of stupid. I thought the idea of a 3d character maker and online table top would be awesome. But it’s not worth 15$ a month. So not only are we paying 30$ for books (and another $30 if you want to play Sorcerer, barbarian, monk, or druid) but now you have to pay monthly to do online what you can do in real life.
Now I haven’t actually gotten my hands on the rules but this is what every one is saying that I have talked to (and enough people told about it for me to confirm it).
Any way thought I might share my opinion. I might write more once/if I can actually see the rules

Opposite Sex Characters

So I have three D&D games going right now. I am DMing for two and playing a character in one. In the one I'm playing in I am using my first female character ever. let me tell you, its different. its hard for someone to act like the opposite sex.
So here is my characters basic story:
She was a daughter of a paladin, her father had always wanted a son, but never got one, she sought to fallow in her fathers foot steps, just as any son would do. The problem was that the Local order(the order of Pelor) did not allow women to become paladins. Though not to bright, Raechel sought to prove her self.
She put her self trough incredible training, and pretty much begged at the door of the Order to accept her. At last at the age of eighteen she was accepted. She befriended a Monk Nicknamed Black-Eye. and together they began doing missions for the order.
Thats about it so far, we have gone though a lot and have added 2 more players. So yeah, Opposite Sex characters, fun to play as if you know how to.

Drawing Bipolar

Man I dont know whats wrong with me. Sometimes I can sit down and draw something half decent, the other times its like... just... crap. Like some times I can draw something like this:
You see thats not half bad, but then there are times where I try to draw something and it comes out... Horrifying! Its almost like my drawing ability has Bipolar. DRAWING BIPOLAR... great just what I needed, something else wrong with me.
In other news I got back into yu-gi-oh (thank my friend for that *glare*). I got a deck already too. It's not too good, but what ever.

Hello,
My Name is Jacob Dix, and I live in southern California. This is my new blog. I will be posting here (hopefully) about two times a week. This blog will include things like my hobbies and some of the random thoughts floating through my head.
Soooo first post, what should I talk about. Maybe some of my hobbies!Hobbies:

That about sums up my interests (not including things like "hanging out with friends", that’s a given) So yes I do a lot of programming, I have been programming on and off for about 5 years and am still not great at it . I am currently working on a Game Engine, this Game Engine will allow me to make different games using a lot of the same code(2d games of course). So far it’s going well, I am in the process of testing its capabilities, and so far it looks promising.
I will be frank, I suck at drawing, I do it for fun and that’s all, I might post some of my crappy art up for every one to throw tomatoes at. I haven’t done much gaming lately, I'm a big fan off Final Fantasy 11 but sadly I haven't been in the mood to play much, oh well. I have a level 42 Red Mage as my highest character.Well that’s all I got for tonight, next post will be about my background. Until then, Tootles,
